USM x BUCHANAN STUDIO presents Tessellate
USM and Buchanan Studio have joined forces to create Tessellate, a striking new collection that reimagines the USM Haller system through Buchanan Studio’s bold and playful design language.
Featuring eleven unique pieces, the collection blends graphic patterns with minimalist forms, transforming functional furniture into expressive design statements.
Founded by Angus and Charlotte Buchanan in 2018, Buchanan Studio is known for its immersive and eclectic aesthetic. With a global portfolio and a distinctive visual language, the studio brings a fresh perspective to this collaboration.
Tessellate showcases Buchanan Studio’s hallmark checkerboard design in the classic USM colours, Ruby Red, Pure White, and Graphite Black, alongside a special edition BS Pink. The collection includes side tables, storage solutions and seating, all designed to integrate seamlessly into a wide variety of interiors.

The collection adds a tactile element with cushions in Buchanan Studio’s signature fabrics, Teddy, Studio Stripe and Ticking Rose, available on the Stool and Bench. For those looking to add a unique material touch, the Kiss Side Table, Desk, and Bar Trolley are available with marble tops in Black Horse, Norwegian Rose, and Calacatta Viola.
A standout piece is the Bar Trolley, designed for effortless entertaining with a cocktail drawer, watertight stainless steel ice bucket, and marble prep surface. The exclusive BS Pink panels, marble surfaces, ice bucket and signature fabric cushions, are available only through Buchanan Studio.
