Set designer based in Milan and from Ostuni, Puglia, Pietro Russo is a sensitive designer and experienced in both interior design and furniture. What constantly stimulates his imagination? The story of a building, the signs of aging of an apartment, the unique style of a place. He loves looking for details, hidden tracks, pre-existing features that may come into the open when you look for them.
Pietro must also take into consideration the needs of his clients by reflecting on their profession and specific expectations.
A designer combines both style and function, but never forgets that a successful interior depends essentially on the latter. Pietro designs furniture taking into account the environment: considering that a house and its furniture must coexist in harmony, he works mainly with a tailor-made approach.
His apartment in the Citta Studi neighborhood is consistent with his professional approach. His classic USM Haller furniture in brown blends in perfectly, elegantly housing clothes and documents and topped with meaningful objects. The back wall was stripped to reveal the first decorative features of this 1940s building, so that every visitor can witness the history of this space.
