USM Record Shop

To celebrate London Design Festival 2026, USM is partnering with Symbol Audio and The Vinyl Factory to transform the USM London showroom into the USM Record Shop: an immersive destination for music, design and vinyl culture.

USM has enjoyed a longstanding collaboration with the US-based audio furniture specialist Symbol Audio, developing a range of furniture designed specifically for the display, storage and enjoyment of vinyl records. Originally conceived by Symbol Audio and now part of the USM Modular Furniture collection, the range includes display cabinets, record stands, vinyl crates, DJ booths, and audio and media consoles that combine functionality with timeless design.

As part of the installation, USM will introduce the new USM Speaker Modules by Symbol Audio to the UK market. Designed to integrate seamlessly with existing USM Haller Furniture, the collection offers high-performance audio solutions in a range of configurations, including two speaker sizes and a subwoofer. Each module features specially developed grilles and integrated cable management, bringing together exceptional sound quality and architectural precision.

In collaboration with The Vinyl Factory, visitors will be able to explore a curated selection of vinyl records by The Vinyl Factory, enjoy DJ sets programmed throughout the festival and experience a bespoke coffee bar by Origin. The space will also showcase the history of vinyl and explore the enduring influence of music on contemporary design and culture.

The USM Record Shop is more than a destination for vinyl. It showcases the enduring connection between music, design, and the versatility of USM Modular Furniture across residential and commercial environments.

If you’re interested in the USM Speaker Modules, please contact Symbol Audio for further information.
