How long will delivery take for my order?

All of our preconfigured products sold on the online stop can generally be delivered within 21 days. Please note that some pieces of furniture with specific finishes may require an additional period which you will be informed of when ordering.

All products not present on the online store, configured to measure and purchased from our showroom or from our resellers can generally be delivered within six to eight weeks.

What are your delivery areas?

Our online shop delivers orders in United Kingdom (limited to mainland England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales).

What are your delivery methods?

Delivery is understood as being to the front of the building, i.e. goods will not automatically be carried into the building. Transport into buildings (or to the point of use) as well as the disposal of the packaging and pallets are the responsibility of the customer.

The furniture leaves our warehouse in perfect condition and is protected against transport damage. Upon receipt, please check the shipping carton for damage before opening it and take pictures of any damage to the packaging.

If in this unlikely case the product is damaged in addition to the packaging, this must be communicated to the logistics company on site and noted in writing on the delivery documents of the deliverer. Please also contact us.

Do I need to assemble the furniture myself?

No, all the furniture sold on the online stop is delivered already assembled. With the exception of tables that are delivered flat and you just need to fix the legs.

How can I be sure that my access will allow the passage of the furniture?

All the dimensions of our products are indicated on the individual product pages on the shop.

We recommend you to take the dimensions of your door as well as the stairs and / or elevator to make sure that the furniture will pass smoothly.

When will I hear about the delivery of my order?

The delivery of your order is taken care of either by one of our resellers, or by our own team. When your order is ready, you are contacted by phone or email to arrange delivery.

Our deliveries are all carried out in strict compliance with health rules related to the current context.

Do you accept returns?

You have a period of seven business days to exercise your right of withdrawal by contacting us by email at [email protected] We will then specify the terms of the return.

Can I buy USM furniture elsewhere than in the online store?

Our online store only offers a refined selection from the endless possibilities offered by the USM Haller system.

USM product questions

What is the USM Haller system made of?

The frame of every USM Haller is made up of two components: sturdy chrome-plated steel tubes and ingenious chromed brass connector balls holding the tubes together. Most of the flat panels in the system are made of sheet steel, powder-coated in your choice of one of the 14 classic USM colours.

How does USM Haller E lighting work?

The new integrated lighting and power system reveals USM Haller furniture in a new light! Revolutionary, power is completely wireless. Electricity is transported to the desired locations via the supporting structure of the furniture. Energy efficient, this modular system also offers dimmable lighting. The lights and USB chargers are embedded in the tubes and are almost invisible once the power is turned off. The furniture can be powered from any point near the floor. Simply connect the power cable to an e-Ball, then hide the adapter under the cabinet until only the switch is visible. No other cable is necessary: ​​the current is transported via the structure of the cabinet.

What are the finishes of the table tops?

The USM Haller table consists of legs and a chromed steel belt. The USM Haller table can thus be used in many situations and can become both an office and a dining table; its aesthetics and functionality make it a perfect complement to the USM Haller system.

5 table finishes are available on the online stop:

Natural oak veneer and black oak veneer: it is a particle board covered with a wood veneer free from knots or criss-cross faults, and 20 mm thick. The edges are trimmed in solid wood to match the veneer. The varnished tops are slightly shiny.

Pearl grey laminate: this is a particle board covered with a high pressure laminate with a special USM "matte aluminium" surface structure with a specific feel, and 20 mm thick. The laminate surface is distinguished by very high resistance to abrasion, deformation and scratches. The edges are trimmed in solid black HPL laminate.

Linoleum nero: it is a particle board covered with linoleum, 20 mm thick. Made from linseed oil, wood powder and other raw materials of plant origin, linoleum offers a pleasant and warm touch. It is antistatic which reduces dust deposits. The edges are trimmed in solid black HPL laminate.

Pure white MDF: this is an MDF panel covered with a powder-coated coating, 20 mm thick. The powder application technology provides a homogeneous, seal-free coating, offering very good wear resistance.

Where are USM products made?

USM products are made in Switzerland, in the Bern region. For us, “Made in Switzerland” is both a promise and a responsibility. Synonymous with precision, quality and reliability, it involves the use of high-end materials and craftsmanship at the service of our commitment to serve the interests of our customers, while respecting the environment.

How do I look after my USM furniture?

For all table finishes and for USM Haller:
- For dry cleaning, use a dust cloth *.
- For wet cleaning, preferably use a soft fabric cloth * or chamois leather; moisten it with water and wring it out thoroughly before placing it on the surface of the cabinet.
In the case of heavy soiling, only use diluted neutral detergent (pH <9).
Never leave the surface long wet, let alone wet, to avoid the risk
water absorption.
Never use sponges or abrasive detergents. Some microfiber cloths may also have an abrasive effect.
Never use solvents.

For the finishes of oiled veneer tables:
To maintain and restore shine to table finishes, we recommend oiling them every 4 to 12 months depending on use.
1. Remove superficial dirt.
2. Pass a lightly moistened cloth over the top of the table.
3. Using a cloth *, apply a thin coat of oil.
4. Then polish the surface to dry completely.

For USM Privacy Panels and USM Inos Box:
For dry cleaning, remove dust and surface dirt with a vacuum cleaner that does not have a brush.
Metal or plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth *.
For wet cleaning, in the presence of encrusted dirt, use a damp cloth * and, if necessary, a mild cleaner (eg window cleaner). Rub very gently so as not to damage the surface.
In case of wear or tear, do not pull the fibers that protrude. To avoid aggravating the defect, it is recommended to carefully cut the affected fibers.

* We recommend the USM cloth.
