The decision is made to move the company to Thunstrasse 55 in Münsingen, with the subsequent architectural commission for the new factory and administration buildings commissioned to Fritz Haller, then an architect in Solothurn (CH), later to become Prof. Dr. h.c., at the University of Karlsruhe (D).
In collaboration with Professor Fritz Haller, the USM Haller furniture system is developed, initially for the offices in Münsingen.
